Updated With Technology

Daddy, why do you work with windows 8 and not with 10? Daddy replied that’s because I have something to do with 8 only, but how do you know about windows 8 and 10? His answer was really remarkable, he said I know about 8 because you are using it, and Costco is selling laptop with windows 10!, believe me we haven’t see electronics department since a year, neither we have talk about this nor he has asked to anyone, but for me, what he explored is just to be a proud of him.

P.s. when we asked in detail, he said he was walking n holding our finger, we just passed by that aisle he saw screen and fixed in his mind in a millisecond!

Missing Tooth

Missing Tooth

YES!!! Finally that day came for what you have waited a long. It was the day of rakhi (rakshabandhan) August 29, 2015 on Saturday you missed your first tooth. You were quite excited and did not cry but we couldn’t stop laughing when you were speaking with missing tooth. You were announcing to everyone, my tooth fell out! Second day you asked me mom, when tooth fairy will come and bring gifts for me? I did not want to lie to him so told him tooth fairy doesn’t exists, it’s just in stories but I can be tooth fairy for you and bring gifts which you like. And He got Thomas train set his all-time favorite.
Till now you have loosen only one lower side, second has started to move. I tease you so many times by calling “Bokhi”. Love you baby.

In my Last post I have written he is crazy to go to first grade and ride a bike without side wheels, yes he started riding without support since three months, as usual you catch up it in only five minutes!

Here I am sharing your picture on first day for first Grade:

My teeth are not falling out

Oh mumma, my all friends are loosing their teeth, when will be my turn? I don’t know why he likes to be tooth less. I said him that you got your baby tooth late hence it will take little long to fall out..
So sweet he is!!

So excited to go to First grade:

If someone asks him which grade you are in, He says “ I will go to first grade next year!!”

Fear of removing support wheels from bike:

“dady please don’t remove side wheels, who will hold my bike then”

Crazy for Chicago

U love to live in house. You miss Chicago so much. Whenever we cross through houses you say to your dady, lets shift to Chicago. I love Chicago only. You remembered everything about chicago’s house. Hope we will take you next year to see your excitement.

Happy 6th Birthday!!

Happy Birthday My child, you are six years today! You look still skinny and yes tall now. But I see you so many ways, as my new born baby who was struggling to breathe, your white beautiful eyes made me mad. As a toddler you were fighting to come out of diseases. As a preschooler you impressed so many people around you and me by your clear speech and your imagination. Today I see so many hopes and dreams in your eyes. I feel so lucky to be your mom, when I knew I’m going to be mom six-seven years ago, I never thought to love you much more than ever possible. I am little emotional but I know few years later you will not need me to understand my posts and attached feelings with them. I ll come up with your demand for themed party, all pics and everything with next post.
My Magical man, I love you so much, Be blessed always : sweet little note from your mumma.

Emotions!!

Two days ago, sarang was waking up Dhyey to get ready for school. He dint wake up easily so he tickled him. Now D also wanted to tickle him back and he pushed him little. S was in naughty mood, he pushed his own head towards wall and started pretending like dhyey has hurt him, Dhyey became serious “dady, did I hurt you, really?”, S wanted to tease him more he said, yes buddy, u hurt me I want to cry…ee.e..e. Dhyey would have started laughing if this incident was happened last month. But now things are different. Fun has converted into emotions. D started crying, God please forgive me, I dint hurt my dad intentionally. I was thinking he is crying because he has just woken up. But it was not like that because it lasted till he went to bed at night. S convinced him I was kidding. I am all right, you dint hurt me. But this was not enough. He said sorry with all his feelings when he left for school. When he came from school he told me to call his dad and ask he is alright or not. Last of all when S came from work he hugged him and started crying "daddy, by mistake I hurt you today. You are so best, i can’t hurt you."  Till that moment, neither S nor I have asked even why did you hurt or how it happened. I was there when all this was happened. I know he dint do anything which might hurt his dad. And for one thing I am most proud mom that he never lies to me, if something has been wrong or broken or somebody is hurt by him, he accepts his mistake. He has fear of mine when he does something wrong but not so fearful to tell me the truth. Thank You god for sending this honest boy in our life. So I was very sure about his words. So many times we do this kind of fun but no one says sorry or gives clarifications. I can see now a days if we get hurt he becomes more panic. But I was really questioning to me from where these sentiments are created!!

ANTARYAMI

Few days back we were listening swami’s preaching. He caught new word “Antaryami”.
D: “Dad what is the meaning of ‘antaryami’”
Dad: “someone who knows or can read others mind, like God”.

Two days later,

He was coming from school with his friend, on the way they both were talking on usual things. He started telling latest story about Pepa  pig…. That girl replied” ohh I know, later then this n that happened in that story, I know everything about that story.”  He quits for some time. Again he started” My class teacher Mrs. Meyer, she had…bla bla bla.. “That girl said “oh I know that you are in Mrs. Meyer’s class n she had..bla.. bla.. bla..” later then he spoke nothing.

When we reached to home, he was silent and I found him in deep thinking.
I asked him what you are thinking about; he said I have one question:
“MOM TELL ME, IS SHE (his friend) ‘ANTARYAMI’???”

Birthday gift in advance

In recent times I was busy with settling up in new apartment and that’s why at the end of the day we become very exhausted and sleepy. That resulted into missing bed time stories some nights. So this smart one has commanded one promise to him for his birthday that “one story at bedtime without fail for full march month”. And Mom committed. :-)

Halloween 2014

I know I am late to post but this should be in memory.

The Feeling of never having time

Last to last week I was telling to my hubby that during this Christmas break I want to pass all my time with Dhyey -like lot of talk, bricks time together, story time, craft time and many more with him, eventually we tried to make it successful, we spend lot of quality time with him. I am fond of cooking and my kid has extreme interest in Lego projects, whenever he rush to me in kitchen to show his work, so many times I said that not now, I will see later and that brings bad feelings. I really wish this fun should be there throughout the year.

You stick your chosen gel cling on window:

You are so innocent!!

This is what we did together: we both cut out stars, you chose ribbon color n cut it, n i fixed it.

Isn't it look awesome at your play area?

First time I decorated Christmas tree with help of you buddy,I was surprised how you know red ribbon goes up, silver i should swirl up and all that, sweeti pie, you said you learnt from your fav. show Peppa pig: -)

Your fav. ornament: transport set

Is he growing up or I am being small?

We both were washing our hands in bathroom; he looked at me and said Mom you look small now, I staggered and asked him how? He said it is because now my head is crossing your waist, it was not so when we were in India, so you are being small now. He means to say his growth is making me small. Kids do evaluation all the way, not only in toys and with other kids’ stuff. They notice entirety I can say.

Your Amusing Mind-1

Scene: We all-3 were having breakfast and common chit-chat today morning.

S: my friend was working in .net few years ago, now he is working in java.
Me: Oh, good.
D:   Daddy, java I know, but what is .net?
S:    Oh really, u know what is Java?
D:   Yup, Java means “GO” (Java nu is Gujarati word to represent GO)

We both said we will wait to hear meaning of .net from you only, take your time buddy.
I diverted, so many times we speak word java and I don’t know how he re-framed sentence with “GO” all the time.

He is questioning boy, he started whining n convinced us to explain.

Favorite Wall

I was thinking to try my hands to embellish area around sitting place, so I just tried little to make it nice-looking. I collected some our all-time favorite pictures, frame it and thought of Dhyey’s favorite color-Green. I like to post notes on message board (sometimes to b special :P) therefore dhyey too wants to post his work and message for mom-dad, thus I fixed his message board downside frames. I love to see it when he is not around or at school. Sara really liked photos I choose and of course overall look and amazingly I got sweet words of appreciation for my work!!
Place for my messages and notes:

Love for Lego

You are my Lego boy, your cars n transport craze is still same but you are playing and making that from Lego bricks. You have collected almost 2475+ bricks in your play area. Whenever you creates model from it, words comes out from my mouth “you have more patience and imagination power than your mom”. But don’t worry beta, mummy is learning from you, I also have spent 4 hours to sort and arrange as per size n design with you today. I couldn't find all pictures but let me post some.

P.S. you never follow instruction from booklet, you just try and make it your own. i don't know i should praise or ask you to follow but that is what you are.
